Misconception

As I approached my mid-thirties as a freshly single person, I started to wonder whether I should freeze my eggs. I also wondered how we had gotten to a place where so many women were forced to make the same choice—turning to IVF or egg freezing as so many of us couple up and start families later in life. This curiosity eventually became my 2024 Bloomberg podcast series, Misconception, which uses the story of my own fertility journey to tell the story of a deeply broken industry. I reported, wrote and hosted the series.
